The B285 is a through-hull, single-band CHIRP transducer with a bronze block and plastic fairing. It is available in either the Medium band or High band with wide beam.
The Medium band covers the popular 88 kHz and 107 kHz frequencies for lake fishing, and the High band covers the popular 200 kHz frequency for salt-water fishing.
The B285 is the same size as the conventional B258 transducer.
